WARBIRD RADIO – The Vietnam War Flight Museum’s founder, Rick Sharpe joins us on the Texas Warbird Report. This museum is dedicated to educating the public about the service and sacrifice to the United States by the veterans of the Vietnam War.

Rick flies a wide variety of aircraft including the “Fire Eaters” A-26 from the movie Always, A-1D Skyraider, MIG 21, UH-1V Huey and one of the few privately owned  AH-1 Cobras. Rick also flies WWII aircraft and Vietnam era jets for the Collings Foundation.

Erik Johnston from “The Walkaround” will also join  Zane on the show tonight.  Erik has been diligently working in the North Texas area to capture unique video Walkaround tours of interesting warbirds and vintage aircraft narrated by their crews and veterans.

TEXAS WARBIRD REPORT – The A-26K Counter Invader – Episode 9

WARBIRD RADIO – Join us for an all new Texas Warbird Report featuring the ongoing restoration story of “Special Kay”, the last Douglas A-26K Counter Invader.  The A-26 Legacy Foundation along with many dedicated volunteers are working to restore this historic aircraft back to flying status. Some of the restoration crew will join us to talk about their progress and what they need to get her back up in the air.

The project is based at the Vintage Aircraft Museum in Fort Worth, Texas.  Showtime tonight (9/1/15) is at 9pm ET.
