WarbirdRadio.com Set To Broadcast Arsenal of Democracy Flyover LIVE!

RECole_SunsetWARBIRD RADIO – The Arsenal of Democracy Flyover will celebrate the 70th anniversary of the allies victory in Europe.  We are truly honored to bring this historic event to the world.  Join Matt Jolley (founder of Warbird Radio.com) and Stephen Bridgewater (Editor Key Publishing / Jets Monthly) Friday – May 8th – for team coverage.

Stephen is traveling to Washington D.C. from his home in England and we’re excited about the UK perspective he brings to the team.  According to WW2FlyOver.com, the event aims “to honor the heroes who fought in the War and those on the home front who produced the tanks, ships, and aircraft that enabled the United States and its Allies to achieve victory, one of the most diverse arrays of World War II aircraft ever assembled will fly above the skies of Washington, D.C. on Friday, May 8, 2015 at 12:10 p.m. (EST) , the 70th anniversary of Victory in Europe (VE) Day, as part of the Arsenal of Democracy World War II Victory Capitol Flyover.”

WW2FlyOver.com went on to say “dozens of World War II aircraft flying in historically sequenced formations will take to the sky, and fly over the Washington Mall. The formations will represent the War’s major battles, from Pearl Harbor through the final air assault on Japan, and concluding with a missing man formation to Taps.”

Warbird Radio.com’s coverage will begin in the morning 12 noon (EASTERN) prior to the flyover.  You’ll hear interviews with veterans, team coverage from the different aircraft launch sites plus real time reporting as the flyover progresses.  Join us for this monumental event on May 8th 2015.

LIVE COVERAGE BEGINS AT 12 NOON.  Special pre-show broadcast begins at 11:30 AM (EASTERN).
