WARBIRD RADIO – We wanted to pass along some good news from our friends in Canada. Below you’ll find a recent letter we received from David Kreutzkamp of the Jet Aircraft Museum. Great work to all involved!
-Team Warbird Radio
Dear Warbird Radio,
The Save Voodoo 006 team wanted to take a moment to send out a update to everyone in the media who has been following the story of the Save Voodoo 006 campaign. At this time the main fuselage of CF-101 Voodoo #006 is set to arrive between 4:30-7 pm at the London airport to be dropped off at her new home with the Jet Aircraft Museum and begin restoration work. At our last update 006 was passing though Toronto as a oversize slow load on-route to YXU (London Airport) at 2:30pm. We would welcome you to join us for the unofficial welcoming of 006 as she pulls into London. We currently do plan on having a official welcoming event in the next month when we plan on putting her fuselage section on display in the museum for the beginning of Dec.
Thank you so much for your interest and support of this important project for both our Canadian aviation heritage and amazing new addition to the London ON Jet Aircraft Museum
Thanks!
