The Plastic Scale Modeling Hour – Dana Bell – Ep#17

WARBIRD RADIO – If there ever was one person you’d want to unfettered access to while building models, then this week’s guest on The Plastic Scale Modeling Hour is one of the first names that comes to my mind is Dana Bell.

Join me as we take a peek into his world! Dana is not only an author, but wears many of hats, most related in some way shape or form to aviation.

Dana has been generous to donate a set of books he wrote and as a bonus, a calendar.

The set consists of a Classic Warship Publishing 2012 Calendar “US Navy Aircraft of WWII”, Aircraft Pictorial #2 “SB2U Vindicator”, Aircraft Pictorial #3 “OS2U Kingfisher” and Aircraft Pictorial #4 “F4F Wildcat.”

To be one of the six possible winners, drop a note to the mailbag before this episode airs. I’ll be announcing the winners throughout the interview with Dana.

Thursday evenings at 7:00 PM Eastern

Studio Line:  478.787.4768

Skype: WarbirdRadio

The Plastic Scale Modeling Hour rebroadcasts at 5:00 AM and 2:00 PM Eastern daily.

This ought to be a most interesting program. I’ll definitely want to tune in to hear Dana Bell on this show this week.

  3. Drew Tarter says:

Dana, your volumes on the Vindicator and the Kingfisher are the best of their kind – I’ll definately be buying your new book on the Wildcat, too. I’m really looking forward to the show, and I have a question: what paint manufacturer makes the most accurate version of USN Blue Grey? How does Model Master’s version of this color stack up?

As usual Gerald, you pull a rabbit out of the hat, and produce a great show for all of us to listen to, can’t wait to hear what insigt Dana has to bring.
