UPDATE – Beach City Baby C-53 – Warbird Radio LIVE! – Episode 638

WARBIRD RADIO – Jason Capra joins Matt Jolley with an update on the Beach City Baby C-53 restoration project.  Mr. Capra is the President of Vintage Wings, Incorporated a Pennsylvania 501C3 non profit corporation that owns the historic C-53.  The airframe is believed to be one of a handful of aircraft surviving today used in Operation Torch.  The historic operation opened the North Africa campaign of WWII and served as America’s test bed for fighting the “new” war.  The “Baby” played a vital role in transporting leadership to the theater and abroad.  Since Mr. Capra’s last visit, some major progress has been made on the “Baby” and we’re looking forward to hearing the news on this episode.  As always, your calls and comments are welcome.  Just use the contact information posted below.
