    Just a note about the last time there were hundreds of aircraft in the air together in one place at the same time. The air demonstration following President Harry Truman’s inauguration, in January, 1949, had aircraft from no less than 22 Air National Guard, Naval, and Marine units – a total of Approx. 750 aircraft – which flew over Pennsylvania Ave. in formations of 38 at a time.
