WB-57F Photo Tour

Take a walk around the unusual WB-57F!
WARBIRD RADIO – Grab a seat and take a photo tour of the Martin B-57 “Canberra“. This twin jet engine light bomber was orginally built under license as a version of the English Electric “Canberra”. The aircraft featured in this tour is on display at the Museum of Aviation in Warner Robins, Georgia.
According to the museum’s website the WB-57F’s were used to gather intelligence worldwide…specifically for collecting air samples to reveal Soviet and Chinese nuclear weapons testing. The USAF retired the last WB-57F in 1974; however, NASA continues to fly two 57F’s for high-altitude research and Earth resources missions.
